Breathwork

  • Conscious connected breathwork is a practice of a mindfully controlling a breath pattern to gently guide us into an altered state of consciousness. While we shift our consciousness through breath, we have the ability to shift our perception, relax our energetic and mental states and release trauma. Breathwork practices can be found all over the world in various cultures.

    Throughout the session, I will guide you through the breath pattern, breath holds and sounds. As a licensed massage therapist and trained shaman, I will also offer gentle adjustments, therapeutic touch and shamanic healing, during your session.

  • Shamanic energy medicine is a comprehensive healing system that considers your whole being. It addresses how energy flows through your chakra system: the seven plexuses that connect with the nervous system, the endocrine system, and major organs. Healing takes place at the energetic level of the body in the Luminous Energy Field (LEF) that surrounds your physical body, also known as the Aura.

    My role as a Shaman is to clear imprints from your LEF, and to guide you to understand the root cause of your symptoms and clear the source of disharmony on all levels of your being. This work will reveal where and how you have fallen out of balance. 

    Together we will work beyond just the physical and mental body and tap into the core of your wounding and programming.  Here at your energetic level, we will co-create a new map for your life, with a new perspective, new behaviors and a new belief system that will support you in living your most optimum life.  I am here to guide and support you in sacred space, but healing also takes your full commitment, active participation and conscious effort for your journey to fully unfold. Your life’s journey is ultimately led by you.

    The wisdom of my teachers come from the Shamans of the high Andes, traditional Maya healers of Belize and Guatemala, Norse and Celtic traditions.  I am honored to be a part and a forever student of these lineages of medicine women and men who are in service for the greater good of all.

    Because we work with the Energy Field, these sessions can be done in-person or remotely. There is no time or space as we move to shift patterns from the place of the energetic. In this space of timelessness, having your session over video communication (zoom, FaceTime or WhatsApp) will have the same effect as a session done in person.

Spiritual Bath

  • Cleaning the sludge to allow the body to heal and work at optimum level. 

    Spiritual bathing is an ancient ritual found in most cultures. Maya spiritual bathing is a healing practice that helps remove emotional obstacles at an energetic level.  The vibrational power of water along with plants, sacred copal incense, and prayerful intention can free you from the past and reconnect you to your body and soul force.

    Your customized bathing experience incorporates the specific healing requests discussed in our pre-consult session.  Medicinal flowers, plants, and herbs are then gathered with gratitude and prayerful intention.  The bath is placed in the sun or under the light of the moon to increase the water’s vibrational healing power, allowing for the elements to offer their highest healing potential for you.  Fresh rosemary and sacred copal incense are also used during the spiritual bath.  Rosemary is used for purification.  Copal is an energy tool that is linked to the crown chakra and helps strengthen the auric body, removing energy blockages and lifts prayers up.  

    Spiritual dis-ease leads to physical dis-ease and Maya healing techniques recognizes the connection between the body’s illnesses, the diseases of the soul, and one’s attitude towards life.

    The Maya believe there are 4 main spiritual illnesses that can disrupt one’s life force, or ch’ulel.

Therapeutic Massage

  • Jessica has 22 years of body work experience. She enjoys blending various modalities to provide a uniquely tailored massage based on the client’s health history, desired outcome, and present state of being. She finds great reward in bringing awareness, healing and balance to each client.

Abdominal Massage

  • Maya Abdominal Therapy was founded and developed by Dr. Rosita Arvigo, who studied with many traditional Maya healers including Don Elijio Panti. This modality is an external, non-invasive manipulation that repositions abdominal and reproductive organs that have shifted out of alignment, thereby restricting the flow of blood, lymph, nerve and chi. The work is primarily done on the abdomen, repositioning the hips and releasing the pelvic floor muscles. The Arvigo® practice incorporates a holistic approach to wellness involving herbology, nutrition, massage, and spiritual healing in order to achieve optimal health. The practice also emphasize the client’s responsibility for their own health and healing.

Yoni Steaming

  • Healers have used steams for both woman and men for centuries.  

    For women, the pelvic floor is also referred to as the Yoni, meaning the divine passage or the source of life.  Yoni transcends the anatomical and is a temple where the divine female essence can be honored.  The Yoni is both magical and erotic, a space of wisdom, creation, and healing.

    Healers offer Yoni steams as an opportunity to reconnect a women’s body to the wisdom of plant medicine. Women have shared this knowledge with each other, inspiring one another to connect with, love, and heal their bodies. It is a wellness practice in which a woman allows the warmth of the steam to permeate the exterior of her vagina. As vaginal tissues are one of the most absorbent in our bodies, Yoni steams can be very supportive to women’s health. From the first period to post-menopause, yoni steaming for woman, is an important tool for self-care.
